Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the application "Gymnastics AI" (mobile and web versions; "the App") handles user information. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
1. Developer & Contact
- Developer: Daito Iwasaki
- Contact: daitoiwasaki@icloud.com
2. Core Principle — Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not automatically collect personal information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, location data, contacts, or photos. The App does not display ads. To improve quality, we may collect anonymous usage statistics only — see Section 8.
The mobile versions (iOS/Android) can be used without any account. The web version requires an account (email and password) to use premium features — see Section 4.
3. Information Stored on Your Device
The following information is stored only on your device (or, on the web, in your browser) and is not sent to our servers:
- Routines you create (selected elements, order, and connection value designations)
- Settings such as selected event, screen, and display language
- A flag indicating whether premium features are enabled
This data is deleted when you uninstall the App (or clear your browser data on the web). However, if you are logged in on the web version, your routines are also synced to our servers under your account — see Section 4.
4. Web Account & Server Storage
When you use premium features on the web version, we store the following on our servers to provide the service:
- Your email address (for login). Passwords are stored hashed and never in plain text.
- Your subscription status (Stripe customer ID, subscription state, and expiry).
- The routines you create while logged in, associated with your account so they can be restored when you switch devices or log back in.
When you are not logged in, and on the mobile versions (iOS/Android), routines are stored only on your device and are not sent to our servers. The data above is used solely for login, billing, and data sync, and is never sold to third parties. For deletion, see Section 11.
5. Element Data Download (GitHub)
The App communicates with an external public file (skills.json hosted on GitHub) to retrieve the latest element master data. This is a standard HTTPS request solely for fetching public data; no personal information is transmitted. As with any internet communication, the hosting provider (GitHub) may log your IP address. Please refer to GitHub's Privacy Statement for details.
6. Feedback Submission
Only when you use the App's "Feedback" feature, the content you enter (category, event, element name, and message body), along with the app version and type (iOS/Android/Web), is sent to our communication service (Discord). On the web version this is relayed via our server. Feedback is voluntary — none of this information is transmitted unless you choose to send it. Please do not include personally identifiable information in your message.
7. Billing
On the mobile versions, premium purchases are processed through Apple (App Store). Payment information (e.g., card numbers) is handled by Apple — we do not receive it.
On the web version, payments are processed through Stripe. Card information is handled by Stripe — we do not receive it. We retain only your subscription status (active/inactive, expiry) and your Stripe customer/subscription IDs (see Section 4).
In all cases, you can manage or cancel your subscription from your App Store account settings or, on the web, under Settings → Account.
8. Anonymous Usage Data (Analytics)
To improve quality and diagnose issues, the App may collect anonymous usage data using Google services (Google Analytics for Firebase / Firebase Crashlytics). This includes interaction events such as feature-usage counts and apparatus selections, crash reports, and statistical information such as device model, OS version, country, and language. This data is keyed to a randomly generated per-app identifier and is never linked to personal information such as your name. The contents of routines you create and your search queries are never transmitted. You can opt out at any time in the App under Settings → Privacy. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
9. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following external services. Each service's handling of information is governed by their respective privacy policies:
- Apple (App Store / In-App Purchases)
- Stripe (Payment processing for the web version)
- Google (Firebase — anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting)
- GitHub (Element data distribution)
- Discord (Feedback destination — only when the user submits feedback)
10. Children's Privacy
Parents and guardians should ensure that children do not include personal information in feedback messages.
11. Data Access & Deletion
On the mobile versions (iOS/Android) and for logged-out web use, we do not store personal data on our servers. Data stored on your device (or in your browser) is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear your browser data.
If you have a web account, we store the data described in Section 4 (email, subscription status, routines) on our servers. To request deletion, contact us at the address in Section 12. We will delete your account and associated data.

13. Changes to This Policy
This Policy may be updated as necessary. Significant changes will be announced within the App or on related pages.
